This prompted an unprecedented response on America Online as cyberfans downloaded Cindy's image at a rate of every 10 seconds for the first 48 hours. Quickly grabbing her the reigns as the 'Queen of the Internet.'

Cindy is the first and only Supermodel to appear in three major swimsuit issues in the same year. In February 1997 Cindy appears on the cover of 'SPORT' and 'Muscular Development' swimsuit editions and is also featured in the 'Inside Sports' swimsuit issue for her fourth year.
