Her first hit was Baby I Don't Care, released in June 2003. The song was originally a UK Top 5 hit for Transvision Vamp in 1989. In 2004 she appeared on the reality television show Hell's Kitchen which she went on to win. This brought her back into the public eye and in July 2004 she released a new single, Bye Bye Boy, which reached the top 10 of the UK charts.

In 2004 she also played Meg, Christine's friend, in the Phantom of the Opera.
